I am currently under warranty and we are paying $850 for a 250/500/100 policy on my 2020 M3 and my wife’s 2014 ICE. I switched to Costco online today after upgrading to executive membership. They gave me the same coverage minus the $1000 deductible and it came to $406! I’m not sure if it’s through Connect, which is sponsored by American Family, but that’s $450 less than what I’m currently paying. Has anyone dealt with claims through Connect?

Here are my suggestions for 6 months. 40 years, zero accidents, no claims, home owner. Obviously, rates vary by individual and location. It is clear that half of them do not want to insure Tesla.

Another thing is that I have 3 cars, 2 of which are Teslas. If I go with a Tesla, I have to separate the car insurance.

What I found is that some information is associated with your Tesla account. Although you can enter any information in the cells, they must match the information in your account. I had an old address on my account and every time I tried to get an offer it gave me an error. I went to my main Tesla login and updated the address and after that it worked.

I use Wawanesa. I have been with them for 10 years and their rates are lower than anyone else, even Tesla Insurance.

We also have a Connect with 2020 MX and 2020 M3 Performance and pay $676 every 6 months.
2 years with Ameriprise/Connect. It was great with the lowest premiums and glass claims to date and paying a doctor for an accident where another company (USAA) accepted liability. I can highly recommend them.

And even when comparing similar coverage, some companies will lower the actual cost to get you and then refund you when you renew.

Not just coverage, but age, driving history, vehicle year, model, msrp, etc. everyone affects it.
Geico Vs Costco
I got my quote from Costco using the coverage I had through Tesla ins/ and Costco was ~$225 a month and the $122 I pay now.
I had a Geico, then a Mercury (package with home inputs.) and now a Tesla. No one quoted anything close to what Tesla gave me. Not even Wawanesa.

As I mentioned in the thread, we’ve had two no-fault claims with them, one with a Tesla and one with another car, and each time they’ve been pleasant and easy to deal with.

Half of what Esurance gave me. I’m not sure about that since I’m an executive member.
